Cost for the 2 day class is $150.

Cash and checks are accepted. 

We have several locations for our classes. Most require shooting at an off site location. Shooting will be done outdoors, due to limited indoor shooting facilities. Please dress for the weather. The course is 30 rounds. The approximate time for qualification is 15 minutes.

Please bring a handgun you wish to use for qualifications with you to class, unloaded and in a case.  You will be required to bring 60 rounds of ammunition for your gun for qualifications. If you have some sort of concealment holster, bring that to day #2

This class is a 16 hour class for Illinois residents interested in applying for a concealed carry permit.

This 2-day class prepares students to apply for a Concealed Carry Permit for the State of Illinois.  Topics addressed in this class include the safe handling of firearms, laws for concealed carrying in Illinois, Use of force laws and basic care of handguns. Students will end the class qualifying at 5, 7 and 10 yards for a total of 30 rounds. 

To Participate in this class you must:

- Be 21 years of age.

- Have not been convicted or found guilty of a misdemeanor involving the threat of         physical force to any person in the last 5 years.

- Have not had 2 or more moving violations related to driving under the influence of alcohol, other drugs or intoxicating compounds within the last 5 years.

- Not subject to a pending arrest warrant, prosecution or proceeding for an offense or action that could lead to disqualification to own or possess a firearm.

- Have not been in a residential or court-ordered treatment for alcoholism, alcohol detoxification, or drug treatment within the last 5 years.
